About the role:
This is a unique permanent opportunity for a generalist Agile Senior BA to join our large Analysis Chapter that supports a variety of medium to large scale programs across the Suncorp Group. The Chapter consists of around 200 like-minded analysts, where ideas and best practice are shared via masterclasses and knowledge sharing. You will support projects being delivered in a continuous delivery model (Agile) as well as initiatives using traditional project delivery models.
A background in the Insurance industry and/or knowledge of TOM would be highly regarded. To succeed in this role you will be a strong all-rounder and a self-starter with first classmunication and stakeholder engagement skills.

What you'll do:
4. Create detailed user stories to support delivery.
5. Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
6. Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately,pletely, and coherently.
7. Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop rmendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.
8. Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks were applicable.
9. Work close with squad / project members, including but not limited to Delivery lead, Scrum Master, Developers, Tech Leads, and Business stakeholders to identify, capture, plan and deliver the scope of work.
10. Suncorp offers a hybrid way of working where you will be expected to be in the office approx. 2 days per week.
What you'll bring:
11. ESSENTIAL: Minimum 5 years' business analysis experience from a large organisation working on significant transformation programs
12. A background in the Insurance industry would be beneficial as would knowledge of Target Operating Models
13. Minimum 3 years' Agile, Lean and waterfall experience including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitation
14. Must be able to translate and understand business and technical requirements and provide appropriate alternatives and solutions to meet those requirements.
15. Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills including experience in dealing with various levels of stakeholders internally and externally.
16. Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
17. Strong team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to make a difference
18. Must be able to manage multipleplex initiatives withpeting deadlines, while also working autonomously.
