The Role
We are seeking motivated and experienced lifeguards, with high fitness levels to join our team of lifeguards at Bondi, Bronte, and Tamarama beaches. In this role you will patrol our beaches, respond to lifesaving emergencies through rescue and resuscitation, and educate the community and many thousands of visitors each year on water and beach safety.
Please note: As selected applicants progress through the recruitment process, a requirement to participate in fitness testing (800m pool swim & ocean lifeguard mission).
About You
8. Certificate 2 Public Safety (Aquatic Rescue) (PUA20119)
9. Certificate 3 Public Safety (Aquatic Rescue) or willing to obtain.
10. Advanced Resuscitation Certificate (HLTAID007)
11. Occupational First Aid (HLTSS00027) or willing to obtain.
12. Advanced Spinal Care (PUAEME007)
13. Provide Pain Management (PUAEME008)
14. Class C Drivers License
15. Senior First Aid certificate
16. NSW Working with Children Check
17. Willingness and ability to perform complex rescues and body retrievals in high-risk conditions and/or unpredictable.
