Service Director or Nursing Director - Community and Preventative Health

An exciting opportunity exists for a Service Director or Nursing Director for Community and Preventive Health (CPH) is the single point of leadership accountability for the CPH Directorate. The role is responsible for planning, implementing, achieving and monitoring all aspects of the Directorate to ensure the delivery of safe, sustainable, person and family centred, cost effective care that meets performance outcomes.
The role has operational responsibility to establish and constantly monitor systems which provide feedback about standards of performance and ensure that information on areas of risk and opportunities are promptly addressed to achieve best practice performance.

Key Responsibilities include:
* Provide strategic and operational leadership, governance and management of CPH Directorate, encompassing a multidisciplinary cohort, ensuring that a whole-of-SCHHS focus underpins decision making and practice.
* Ensure that the CPH Directorate operates safely and in accordance with relevant policies and legislation, in addition to the requirements of the Queensland Health Clinical Services Capability and Clinical Governance Frameworks.
* Share responsibility with the General Manager CPH for the development and implementation of an innovative five-year outcome-based strategy that is responsive to patient and community needs and is aligned with the SCHHS strategic priorities.
Remuneration value up to $198,959 p.a., comprising salary $174,378 p.a. (NRG11) or $190,788 comprising salary between $161,540- $167,217 p.a. (HP6), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP6 or NRG11). Applications will remain current for 12 months.
