Senior Account Executive - SME Construction

As Senior Account Executive you will implement Client First Principles across your portfolio of Small to medium corporate accounts, ensuring high quality customer service is always provided and set revenue and expense budgets are consistently attained. In addition to the end-to-end management for a set portfolio of clients, you will manage the day to day requirements of a national scheme and provide leadership to support staff including Account Executives and Assistant Account Executives.

7. Foster effective long-term relationships with key client decision makers and frequently monitor political, management and other changes to preserve and protect these relationships.
8. Take a pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients ensuring client needs are identified and met
9. Monitor the accuracy and performance of subordinates and, where necessary, take the necessary corrective action to ensure that performance and services continue to meet client andpany expectations.
10. Implement successful account retention and defence strategies.
11. Be responsible for the day to day management of a construction scheme/binder.
12. Maintain an awareness of all large and potentiallyplicated claim related matters and assist claims personnel in the negotiation of equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients.
13. Possess a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance which thepany offers to its clients and keep abreast of all new technical and product developments;
14. Possess a thorough working knowledge of all aspects of the Insurance (Agents & Brokers) Act, Insurance Contracts Act, Fire Services Levy, Stamp Duties, Worker'spensation and other relevant legislation and keep abreast of all new developments.
