Full-time Carpenter position available in Eastlakes, NSW 2018 On behalf of Alfa Class Install PTY LTD, a company specializing in commercial carpentry services, including the installation, relocation, and delivery of office fixtures and custom-built furniture, we are seeking a full-time Carpenter. Alfa Class Install is fully certified to manage projects of all sizes, offering customized and reliable solutions with precise attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in carpentry, including the construction and installation of office furnishings and custom fixtures, as well as experience working in commercial environments. Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Design, construct, install, and repair wooden structures, including frameworks, support systems, fixtures, and temporary scaffolding for installations. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials with precision, utilizing specialized woodworking tools and machinery. Prepare layouts and source materials, including timber selection. Fabricate, repair, and maintain custom wooden elements, such as cabinetry, fittings, and detailed joinery, for residential and commercial properties, ensuring accuracy in cutting, joining, and assembly. Construct and install built-in furniture, cabinetry, and bespoke wooden fittings to meet project specifications and design requirements. Apply protective coatings, such as sealants, stains, or paint, to improve durability and enhance visual appeal. Evaluate and inspect structures to verify adherence to safety regulations and project guidelines, addressing damage or wear by replacing or restoring components as required. Work collaboratively with colleagues and other trades professionals to achieve project milestones and ensure timely delivery Qualifications and Skills: Certificate III in Carpentry or an equivalent qualification. At least 2 years of proven experience as a Carpenter, with a focus on the construction, installation, and relocation of custom office fixtures and furnishings. Possess a valid industry standard safety white card and the required security clearance to perform work on secure government sites. Ability to work effectively in commercial or office environments. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship in all tasks. Solid understanding of wooden construction techniques, materials, and tools. Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $75,000 - $85,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
