As Group Financial Controller, you'll work closely with the CFO and work within a small, high-performing finance team.
Ideal for auditors or corporate finance professionals from large accounting firms with 5+ years of experience, this role offers a chance to apply your technical expertise in a hands-on commercial setting.You will: Prepare consolidated half-year and year-end financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.Partner on due diligence for potential acquisitions and assist with acquisition accounting, business combinations, and post-deal integration.Develop robust technical accounting papers on complex topics such as business combinations, share-based payments, employee options, and other one-off transactions.Liaise with subsidiaries to coordinate consolidated balance sheet reconciliations and act as the primary contact for external auditors.Coach the Financial Accountants in the Corporate Services Finance Team and provide ad-hoc accounting assistance to subsidiaries when required.Strengthen financial controls and support the consistent application of group accounting policies across subsidiaries.What You'll Bring:CA or CPA qualification with a bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Corporate Finance.5+ years of experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm (audit or corporate finance) or a well-grounded background with a large Corporate Entity.
