How you will make contributions that matter
Reporting to the Planning Supervisor, your new role as a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler will be to assist with planning and coordination of both Internal and Contracted Maintenance Work for the site's Reliability and/or Site Services teams. Your core role will be to coordinate the preventative and corrective maintenance of defined production streams at site.
This includes:
1. Maintenance works planning with existing computer maintenance management system (SAP).
2. Coordination of planned maintenance works with contractors and internal labour including contractor management and supervision (as required).
3. Ensure all planned maintenance works and operation of day-to-day, weekly, and periodic activities are communicated with the relevant internal production stake holders.
4. Develop specific plant equipment process knowledge to become a key stakeholder in identification of improvement in reliability and efficiency.
5. Focus on the need for continuous improvement in an ongoing effort to improve products, services and processes involved.
6. Ensure adequate spares and stock levels are maintained for planned activities.
7. Promotion of safe working practices and good housekeeping.
About you
8. Previous Contractor Management experience essential
9. Electrical/ Mechanical or Maintenance trade qualification or equivalent would be advantageous.
10. Working experience in food and beverage industry, or similar comparable industrial/ manufacturing environment and strong knowledge and experience with planning and scheduling principles and procedures is essential.
11. Knowledge of Computer Maintenance Management Systems is advantageous.
12. Ability to critically think and forward plan management activities.
13. Sound communication skills both written and verbal.
14. Ability to troubleshoot and identify improvement with good attention to detail.
