The Opportunity:
As the Practice Manager, you will play a key role in the success of the law firm through your leadership. You’ll guide a passionate team focused on achieving the best outcomes for our clients, while also driving revenue generation and maintaining a high standard of operational oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operations of the firm, ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocation.
* Cultivate strong relationships within the firm to maintain a cohesive and motivated team of over 60 employees (not all direct reports).
* Demonstrate entrepreneurial aptitude to enhance the branch’s reputation and provide strong technical oversight.
* Actively support and coach your team to ensure effective case management and client satisfaction.
* Conduct detailed research, liaise with barristers, and identify legal precedents to inform case strategy.
* Assist the Managing Partner with strategy and provide day-to-day technical legislative advice.
* Provide operational oversight, effectively manage budgets, and ensure team performance aligns with firm goals.
* Progress and resolve cases across various specialties, including TAC and WorkCover.
* Ensure clients receive the legal advice and representation they need to obtain maximum compensation.
* Exhibit strong leadership, sound judgment, and commercial acumen to navigate complex situations.
What You’ll Bring:
To thrive in this role, you will have:
* 10+ years of experience in a specialist field of personal injury law.
* A current practicing certificate.
* Proven ability to lead and mentor a thriving team.
* Strong understanding of, and ability to interpret, relevant legislation and legal documentation.
* An eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional results for clients.
* A proactive approach to generating fees for the firm.
