The Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD) is responsible for the provision of secure, reliable and integrated information and technology platforms, systems and services that transform education environments, and enable a great education for every child and young person. The Corporate Digital Services Branch, engages with corporate executives in developing strategies and road maps for delivery that support corporate functions and are aligned to the department's overarching enterprise architecture. The branch supports corporate executives in the development of business cases to support the delivery of roadmaps, leveraging the capabilities across the division in the implementation of major initiatives. About the opportunity Reporting to the CIO, this role is responsible for: Leading, managing, enhancing, and optimising the delivery and operational support of high-quality technology products and corporate digital services. Contributing to the planning, management and enhancement of innovative, integrated ICT systems, services and support and enable the department to achieve its vision, with a focus on corporate services. Collaboratively developing and implementing an Employee Experience Strategy as well as delivering on existing corporate digital initiatives. As well as being an active member of the IMTD Executive Management team, you will lead a team of approximately 40-50 members in the delivery of products and services that are intuitive and help corporate teams to work more efficiently to achieve their goals. Your strong leadership and communication skills will help you drive a service-oriented culture in your branch, enhance the capabilities of your team members and build resilience and engagement. You will ensure your resources (financial, staff, technology and services) are allocated and coordinated to maximise business benefits. In this role you will develop and maintain strong relationships across the division and with your corporate stakeholders in the development of corporate digital strategies and implementation plans that are aligned to the department's enterprise architecture as well as support whole of government strategies and policies. In addition, you will leverage your relatiionship management and negotiation skills to optimise the outcomes of your supplier relationships and contracts. About you As our ideal candidate, you will have: Significant leadership experience and effective management of corporate digital services, including knowledge of Human Resources and Finance systems. Demonstratable experience in stakeholder engagement, negotiation and contract management of large service contracts. Significant experience in translating organisational strategy into long-term plans and objectives and reporting progress against plans and objectives and superior writing and communication skills Understanding the Department's values, want to work in the public sector, and will abide by the Victorian Public Sector Code of Conduct together with an understanding of Victorian Public Service processes.
