Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate Guest Service Agent to join our team at Hotel Indigo in Potts Point.
Main Responsibilities
* Financial Returns: Process payments and follow cash handling procedures. Promote upsell opportunities such as late checkout, room upgrades, and minibar items.
* Guest Experience: Provide a warm and welcoming arrival experience. Check in guests, manage guest requests, and maintain the front desk to high standards.
* Team Collaboration: Work alongside colleagues to ensure smooth operations, assist during high-activity periods, and contribute creative ideas to enhance the guest experience.
* Knowledgeable Service: Stay informed about local attractions, events, and places to visit in Potts Point and Sydney to share with guests.
* Adhere to Company Policies: Ensure compliance with all operational procedures, including cash handling, guest confidentiality, and lost property. Participate in training and development opportunities.
Requirements
* Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred.
* Familiarity with Infor PMS or similar Hotel Property Management Systems a plus.
* Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
* Detail-oriented with superior customer service abilities.
* Ability to stay positive, energetic, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
