About the Position
In this key role, you will play a crucial part in the planning and oversight of major projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to relevant standards. Your responsibilities will include managing civil engineering specifications, preparing detailed reports, and overseeing the tendering process.
You will also maintain regular communication with key clients and stakeholders, facilitating smooth project coordination. As an integral member of the leadership team, you will contribute to strategic decisions and shape the company's direction.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Design projects using Civil software such as MUSIC, DRAINS, 12D, and AutoCAD.
* Prepare comprehensive Civil Engineering reports.
* Take control of planning and delivering all projects from start to finish.
* Conduct site inspections and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
* Train and develop junior team members.
Skills and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering is essential.
* Advanced proficiency in HECRAS, TUFLOWS, and DRAINS is desirable.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills for team and client liaison.
* Excellent knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standards.
