Job Summary:0.6 contract but can be flexible.Provide evidence-based interventions to individuals in custody with substance use histories.Facilitate group programs focused on harm reduction and relapse prevention strategies.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support the health and wellbeing of individuals post-release.Job Description: The AOD (Alcohol and Other Drugs) Program Facilitator works within a multidisciplinary team to address substance use issues among individuals in custody. The role involves conducting assessments, facilitating harm reduction programs, and developing treatment plans aimed at minimizing risks and promoting recovery. The facilitator works closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of care and support for individuals upon release. This position emphasizes trauma-informed care and harm minimization, aligning with national health standards to ensure quality service delivery.
