Senior Performance Analyst Position
An experienced Senior Performance Analyst is needed to validate and clarify performance requirements with business stakeholders.
* Understand high-level designs at an architectural level that support performance requirements and identify performance risks.
* Identify performance bottlenecks across application tiers (at code, query, configuration & infrastructure layers), and provide actionable inputs (tuning recommendations) to development teams.
* Work closely with program managers and POs in strategizing releases and resource needs.

Responsibilities
* Liaise with internal/external clients to understand and document performance & resilience requirements.
* Validate and clarify requirements with business stakeholders to define scope.
* Conduct capacity and availability planning reviews.
* Undertake feasibility studies for major IT developments.
* Provide guidelines and make recommendations for HLD and LLD documentations.
* Model areas of risk to estimate latency characteristics and capacity requirements.
* Work with designers/development leads to establish and communicate performance-related design/development/coding principles and best practices.
* Review designs and early deliverables to assess performance.
* Implement and enhance service observability against set SLI/SLO/SLAs by setting up monitoring and alerting using Splunk and other APM tools.
* Drive performance engineering as an integral step during the software development life cycle.
* Assure adherence to best practices.
Requirements
* 8-14 years of experience.
* Proficiency in NFR consulting activities such as NFR validation, production analytics, and workload modeling.
* Able to troubleshoot and solve complex performance issues.
* Recommend performance optimizations.
* Set up monitoring frameworks for improved performance monitoring.
* Proactively identify resource needs and help plan better.
