1. Temporary full time for up to 6 months, with the view to ongoing employment
2. $66,298 – $76,353 per annum (depending on skills and experience), plus an all incidence allowance of $6,884 per annum, employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the position
The NSW State Member for Cootamundra, Steph Cooke, is seeking an experienced professional to join her Electorate Office team. The right person will have excellent writing skills, a good working knowledge of administrative systems and a familiarity with the electorate.
The Electorate Officer role is the initial point of contact for all constituent enquiries and involves administrative functions to support the Member and ensure the efficient operation of the office. The role also involves providing a high level of support to the Member for Cootamundra across a variety of tasks including preparation of correspondence, media monitoring, project and case management, speech writing and event coordination. Local knowledge is desirable but not essential.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate an understanding of the NSW Government and the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
The role requires minimal after hours and weekend work for which an annual All Incidence of Employment Allowance is paid.
