About This Role As a Hardware Specialist, you will support hardware engineering activities associated with CAE's through-life support contracts, upgrades, and installation projects across CAE's simulators and training devices.The role covers both electrical and mechanical systems and involves the selection, procurement, installation and set-to-work of various low power electrical and mechanical interfaces, mechanical fixtures, and systems. As well as defining and/or updating CAD drawings and wiring schematics, the role is also responsible for updating associated installation instructions.This role will ideally be located in Homebush, NSW but we will also consider it being located in one of our other NSW sites, preferably either RAAF Base Williamtown and HMAS Albatross, Nowra – or could be located in Brisbane, QLD.
