We are looking for someone who is early in their technical career. If you have been a technical team manager or senior engineer, this role may not be for you.As the CyberLAB Associate Systems Engineer, you will:Assist in setting up and managing the CyberLAB environment for demos, PoCs, and training sessions.Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth operation and integration of various technologies.Develop and maintain basic scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate tasks and improve efficiency.Develop documentation for the CyberLAB and associated technical business units.Support the presentation and delivery of technical content to clients and stakeholders.Organise and manage resources effectively to meet project deadlines.Work independently on assigned tasks while also being an active team player in collaborative projects.Other ad-hoc duties related to CyberLAB and technical business units.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEThe ideal CyberLAB Associate Systems Engineer:Networking: Understanding of network configurations, protocols, and troubleshooting.Basic Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.Cybersecurity Basics: Familiarity with fundamental cybersecurity concepts and practices.Presenting: Ability to present technical information clearly and effectively to various audiences.Organisation: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and partners.Independent Work: Capability to work autonomously and take initiative when needed.Highly Regarded Skills:Professional cybersecurity technical experience.Cybersecurity or IT degree.Industry certifications from places like CompTIA, Offensive Security, CEH, etc.Penetration testing experience (even things like TryHackMe or Hackthebox).If you do not have all the skills listed but are someone who loves to learn and is passionate about technology, we still encourage you to apply.
