About The Role:
As a Network Engineer, you will be an integral part of our Infrastructure Support team, providing expert (Level 3) support across BKI’s IT infrastructure. You will proactively manage network operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems, ensuring optimal performance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain BKI’s network infrastructure, including switches, routers, wireless networks (Cisco Meraki & DNAC), including layer 4-7 firewalls, IPSec and SSL VPNs (Palo Alto, Firepower or Fortinet)
* Ensure the security, stability, and efficiency of network environments, implementing best practices and proactive solutions
* Maintain Cisco ISE environment, DMZ networks, firewall security policies, and micro segmentation of the network
* Provide Level 3 support, resolving network-related incidents, service requests, and change management tasks
* Lead infrastructure improvement initiatives, security initiatives, automation in network and contribute to strategic network planning
* Prepare technical documentation, network diagrams, and test reports
About You:
You are a passionate and detail-oriented network professional, with the technical expertise to maintain and enhance complex IT infrastructure. Your ability to problem-solve, innovate, and communicate effectively will help drive BKI’s technology strategy forward.
You will bring:
* Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related field
* Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus & Catalyst 9K switches and ZTNA network security framework
* Experience working with OSPF, MPLS, EIGRP, and BGP networks
* Advanced knowledge of Wi-Fi controller platforms and understanding of RF surveys and optimisation
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
