The Electrical Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the electrical service department, ensuring high-quality service delivery, scheduling staff, and driving business growth. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a customer-focused approach.Key Responsibilities Schedule and dispatch electricians and apprentices for service calls, optimising routes and resources.Maintain an organised schedule of reactive and planned jobs, ensuring timely completion.Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and resolving issues promptly.Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with service delivery.Invoicing of service jobs to clients.Provide technical assistance and guidance in conjunction with the electrical supervisor to the service team, leveraging electrical knowledge to solve problems.Maintain accurate records of service calls, work orders, and job materials.Identify correct parts to ensure seamless procurement procedures are followed.Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in conjunction with the electrical supervisor, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.Prepare and manage the service department budget, monitoring expenses and profitability.Analyse financial performance and identify areas for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.Ensure all work complies with industry standards, codes, and regulations.Promote a culture of safety.Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion within the electrical service sector.Qualifications Qualified Electrical LicenceMinimum 5 years of experience in the electrical trade.Proven track record in team leadership.Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and services.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in budgeting, financial analysis, and job management software (simPRO experience advantageous but not essential).Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Proficient in computers and office applications.Working Conditions May require occasional travel to job sites and hands-on approach with the team.Ability to work outside of regular business hours as needed.The Company T2 Electrical & Data is a steadily growing company that excels in the areas of commercial electrical and construction project work.
