A Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food items in accordance with standardized recipes, ensuring an appealing and appetizing product across various outlets.

* Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen and work areas.
* Minimize waste and optimize cost-production ratios while adhering to hotel standards.
Essential Qualifications
* High School diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
* Obtain and maintain Food Handlers Certification (compliant with State requirements).
* Demonstrate effective communication and evaluation skills.
* Work well under pressure and handle stressful situations efficiently.
Main Job Duties
* Foster a friendly and service-oriented approach when interacting with guests and colleagues.
* Maintain regular attendance according to Aimbridge Hospitality scheduling requirements.
* Meet personal appearance and grooming standards, including wearing proper uniform and name tag.
* Comply with all Aimbridge Hospitality regulations and standards for efficient operations.
* Possess thorough knowledge of menus and preparation techniques as per hotel standards.
* Ensure cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
* Prepare necessary food and station preparations before outlet opening to ensure prompt guest service.
* Prepare and display buffet food according to Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
* Operate on the kitchen line during operating hours, maintaining efficiency, productivity, and quality standards.
* Prepare food for Banquets following specifications outlined in Banquet Event Orders.
* Provide food services for Associate Cafeteria as specified by restaurant leadership.
* Follow Aimbridge Hospitality standard recipes to prepare all foods; special preparations will be under direction of restaurant leadership.
* Break down buffets and kitchen line, storing food and equipment properly after each meal period.
* Work at banquet food stations as scheduled by restaurant leadership.
* Be familiar with fire extinguishing equipment location and operation.
* Practice safe work habits to avoid injury to self or others.
* Know all hotel policies and house rules.
* Familiarize yourself with hotel emergency procedures.
* Use Production Charts as per Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
* Interact with guests, managers, and colleagues in a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner.
* Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and adhere to 'Clean As You Go' policy.
* Assist in food item storage and rotation according to hotel procedures.
* Sign out and back in keys under supervision as needed.
* Attend meetings as required by management.
* Perform other duties as assigned by management.
