About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Enterprise Agile Coach (SAFe Specialist) to drive transformational change for customer accounts by embedding the principles, practices, and frameworks of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
The Enterprise Agile Coach serves as a trusted advisor, partnering with client organizations to deliver value-driven outcomes, foster a Lean-Agile mindset, and ensure alignment between strategic objectives and execution.
Key Accountabilities:
* Agile Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor and change agent, guiding the organisation in adopting SAFe and embedding Agile principles at all levels.
* SAFe Implementation: Develop and execute SAFe transformation strategies, including training, launching Agile Release Trains (ARTs), facilitating Program Increment (PI) Planning, and optimising Lean Portfolio Management (LPM).
* Coaching & Mentoring: Mentor executives, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers (RTEs), and Agile teams to deepen their Agile practices.
* Build capability within the organisation through workshops, knowledge sharing, and on-the-job coaching.
* Agility Measurement: Establish and track Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the organisation's Agile maturity and continuously refine practices for improved outcomes.
* Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning through Communities of Practice (CoPs), retrospectives, and feedback loops.
* Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior leaders to define value streams, align strategic goals with delivery outcomes, and resolve organisational impediments to agility.
* Agile Maturity Assessments: Conduct assessments and provide actionable insights to help teams and leadership improve their SAFe practices.
* Tooling and Practices: Drive adoption of Agile tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, TargetProcess) to support SAFe implementation and promote transparency and flow efficiency.
Experience:
* SAFe Expertise: Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or higher (e.g., SAFe Practice Consultant-T).
* Demonstrable experience in launching and coaching Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and establishing Lean Portfolio Management (LPM).
* Agile Coaching: 5+ years of experience in Agile coaching across diverse teams and portfolios.
* Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and DevOps.
* Enterprise Transformation: Proven track record of leading Agile transformations in large, complex organisations.
* Leadership Skills: Exceptional facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution skills.
* Change Management: Expertise in scaling Agile practices while managing organisational change and aligning multiple business units.
* Metrics & Reporting: Strong ability to develop and interpret Agile metrics to guide continuous improvement.
* Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Agile lifecycle management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, SAFe Collaborate).
* Experience with DevOps, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Continuous Delivery pipelines.
* Expertise in Lean budgeting and financial management.
* Background in leadership coaching or executive development
