We are seeking a number of APS4 Budget Management Support Planners to join the reform and transition team for a large Federal Government Agency.
Job Description
The successful candidates will provide operational and administrative support within the service delivery area, with multiple opportunities available in Brisbane. This is a 12-month assignment paying $43.82 per hour plus super.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyzing participants' records using policies, practice guidance, and legislation to make funding decisions
* Working with participants and their representatives via phone to identify current circumstances and spending patterns
* Maintaining high-quality records and adhering to process guidelines and operating procedures
* Researching and reviewing decisions and managing moderately complex cases
* Administration tasks and data entry
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:
* Strong administrative skills
* Ability to work to and meet key performance indicators
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide information and advice to a range of stakeholders
* Data analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
* Competency with IT systems
* Experience working in a Disability, Service Delivery or Government setting would be advantageous
Additional Information
As this role sits within the Federal Government, applicants are required to hold Australian Citizenship. There may be an opportunity to work from home up to 3 days per week following training. Positions are full time business hours. We anticipate roles commencing from March 2025 through to December 2025 with a view to extension.
