Our Federal Government client is seeking an experience Delivery Manager to lead a multi-discipline delivery team, following agile principles to deliver IT systems supporting their core business. You will be an experienced, pro-active and versatile Delivery Manager with a strong background successfully managing IT projects.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Provide direction and supervision of developers, business analyst, testers, data engineers, business SMEs, solution architects and other project resources.
* Manage the delivery of all project areas (including scope, schedule, resources, risks and issues, quality, and benefits) to ensure successful delivery of products within project constraints.
* Proactively identify and manage technical risks and issues.
* Proactively manage dependencies, including risk assessment and contingency plans.
* Contribute to agile/delivery/project management practices.
Essential Criteria:
* Demonstrated success and experience managing large complex ICT application development projects following agile principles and ‘scrum’ methods (min 5 years exp).
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management and collaboration skills to support and maintain a high performing culture where multidisciplinary teams work together to deliver quality outcomes.
* Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and manage project risks, and troubleshoot project issues.
Desirable Criteria:
* Knowledge and experience applying agile delivery principles and practices.
* Relevant ICT qualifications and/or industry certifications
* Understanding of Machine Learning
* Experience with IT systems implementation requiring integration of Intelledox Infiniti or SmartComms SmartIQ Cloud with other AWS-based business applications.
Role Particulars
Submission deadline: 17th July
Duration: 10 months starting mid-August
Extension/s: 1 x 12 month option to extend
Eligibility: Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain Baseline Clearance
Location: Canberra, A.C.T
Working arrangements: This role requires candidates to be onsite in Canberra. Opportunities to work remotely up to 3 days per week may be negotiated.
