The Role:
An exciting opportunity has become available in the National Marketing & Communications team. Reporting to the Marketing Services Centre Manager, the Web Content Specialist plays a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our customer and doctor-facing websites.
This is an incredible opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team that supports all of Ramsay Health Care’s businesses across hospitals and out of hospital services. You will be joining us at an exciting time as we support the Digital and Transformation Strategic Website Project. This initiative will migrate all Ramsay websites onto our strategic content management system while redesigning them for a more patient-friendly, streamlined, and consistent user experience.
Key Accountabilities:
* Undertake website content updates across two content management systems (CMS) – Sitecore and Optimizely to manage, update and publish content
* Build and maintain templates in the content management systems keeping within the current content structures
* Design and develop both backend and frontend components within Sitecore, ensuring consistent functionality and performance across all browsers and platforms
* Optimise code for performance and responsiveness, ensuring a seamless web experience
* Optimise existing content to enrich the user experience including web pages, blog posts, landing pages and multimedia content ensuring responsiveness across various platforms
* Work closely with the digital marketing team to ensure websites are optimised for digital campaigns
* Collaborate with developers and IT to troubleshoot and solve technical and coding issues relating to the websites
* Participate in deployments and testing scenarios
* Ensure graphic standards and brand compliance are upheld and that all work produced has a high degree of quality, accuracy and timeliness and complies with accessibility standards
* Ensure quality of content by eliminating duplicate content and maintaining site integrity
* Contribute to Ramsay’s digital architecture, ensuring Ramsay is continually up to date
* Ensure compliance with Ramsay Health Care policies
* Maintain security standards in accordance with IT standards and policies
Essential:
* Proven experience with Sitecore and Optimizely CMS including content development, editing and troubleshooting
* Knowledge of digital channels, web design and development, UX, CMS platforms, web metrics and analysis, email, CRM
* Sound knowledge and experience with cross device web responsive implementations
* Experience with SEO, SEM and location-based search to promote services online
* Experience developing online content and improving customer experience to increase customer engagement and satisfaction
* Experience maintaining multiple websites
* Demonstrated business acumen and commercial awareness
* Strong communication skills & attention to detail
* Resourceful, team player and flexible
Desirable:
* Front end development experience to produce customer facing experiences
* Experience participating in a development workflow
* Experience with Azure
* Experience using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to inform marketing strategy and demonstrate commercial outcomes
