Your Contribution As Technical Sales Specialist for Corio Waste Management, you will take ownership of your territory in the Ballarat area, driving growth through strategic planning and targeted sales efforts. Maintaining a keen focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities will ensure the continued expansion of your client base. Additionally, you'll manage an existing portfolio, dedicating time to enhancing relationships with current customers to maximise service offerings and satisfaction. Your self-motivation and drive to excel will be essential in achieving success and maintaining Corio Waste Management's reputation as an industry leader. Key Responsibilities and Duties Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers within your designated territory in the Ballarat area. Analyse customer needs to identify opportunities for upselling additional services and improving engagement. Proactively identify and target potential new customers in the Ballarat region. Increase sales to new customers, with a focus on optimising route productivity. Ensure the customer churn rate in your territory remains at or below 5%. Utilise Microsoft Dynamics NAV to maintain accurate and timely data on sales activities and customer interactions. Collaborate with internal teams to address customer feedback and enhance service delivery. Report monthly sales performance against KPIs to the Sales and Customer Relationships Manager. Qualifications and Experience Proven experience in industrial B2B sales. Demonstrated ability to independently manage a sales territory and achieve growth targets. Strong skills in identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach to sales and customer engagement. Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the Ballarat area. Certificate IV in Business Sales or Leadership and Management, or willingness to obtain.
