About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Officer to support the Financial Controller with group accounts receivable and accounts payable functions for the finance and operations team. This is a hybrid role within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, requiring an individual with a continuous improvement mindset, great attention to detail, prioritisation and time management skills, and a team-oriented attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for both the finance team and operations (equipment) team.
This includes:
2. Calculating and raising monthly royalty fees, license fees, email fees, and other ad hoc fees to franchisees, ensuring adherence to relevant withholding tax provisions.
3. Preparing weekly templates for payment gateway providers, considering relevant currencies.
4. Raising monthly/quarterly rebate invoices.
5. Raising equipment invoices for franchisee orders generated from inventory software (Unleashed).
6. Assisting with warranty order creations.
7. Assisting operations team with dispatch and post-dispatch invoicing.
8. Handling all tasks associated with payments to suppliers.
9. Managing debtor collections.
10. Monitor franchisee/supplier queries to ensure timely resolution.
11. Generate timely and accurate reports related to accounts payable/receivable for the finance and operations team.
12. Generate inventory software program reports as required.
13. Perform other ad-hoc duties as needed.
Experience / Qualifications:
14. 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role within professional services and/or corporate environments.
15. Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB) and Microsoft Excel.
16. Detail-oriented with a strong aptitude for accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
17. Strong attention to detail.
18. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
19. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
20. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
