With proven experience and expertise across the project lifecycle, we work with local communities and our customers to lead the transition to Australia’s clean energy future.We are 100% Australian owned and have 1.1 gigawatts (GW) of renewable energy in operation and an Australian development pipeline of 20GW.We are committed to advancing our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan as part of our ongoing efforts toward reconciliation.The RoleWe are seeking a talented and highly motivated candidate with extensive experience in Transactional Services to join our team on a 12 month parental leave contract.The Finance Manager - Transactional Services is responsible for leading a team and facilitating the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for Squadron Energy.Key responsibilities:Manage the processes and controls of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions across the Squadron Energy group.Manage the processing and settlement of our Power Purchase Agreements in SAP and Austraclear.Manage a team of Accountants to ensure that transaction flows, records, billings, and payments are performed accurately and within agreed timeframes.Maintain and uplift internal controls/procedures to drive improvement across the business unit.Manage the month-end process for transaction related processes.Assist in the testing and development of SAP system applications and their improvements.Manage cost recoveries across the Squadron Energy Group.Work closely with the Treasury function to ensure cash flow compliance.Manage the corporate credit card processing and timely processing of staff claims, ensuring compliance against company policy.About youYou will have:Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Accounting.Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia.Demonstrated ability to manage own time, work independently, set priorities to meet realistic deadlines and organise workload.Experience managing and leading a team.Experience in Microsoft 365 suite of software for data analysis and information presentation.Sound knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and Australian statutory taxation laws.What’s on OfferIn addition to a competitive remuneration package combined with attractive benefits, employees have the opportunity to access training and career development, and workplace flexibility.
