You'll take responsibility for developing structural engineering solutions for large and small projects, including project specific designs, developing specifications for suppliers, assisting procurement, as well as providing client and sub-contractor engineering support. You'll also get involved in design reviews and support during construction & commissioning phases. No two days will be the same.Key Responsibilities Undertake detailed design of approved concepts Assist design team to check & review technical documentation Assist Project Lead Engineer with client on design issues Undertake design audits Ensure delivery timelines are met Do proposals, preparations of tenders & technical specs Liaise with and review suppliers work Review supplier quotes for fabrication & 3rd party designs Assist Project Lead with suppliers, subcontractors & clients Assist with stand-alone package compatibility & integration Develop wet & dry machine commissioning procedures Assist with hand-over including hand-over certificates Key Skills and Attributes EA recognised Bachelor Degree in Structural engineering 8-15 years exp (min. 2-4 years in materials handling equipment) Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills Sound knowledge of AS4100, AS4324.1 FEA software experience preferred, ideally Strand 7 or equivalent Exp in Autodesk platform (Auto CAD Mechanical, Inventor etc.) This is a unique career opportunity to develop your career in full cycle engineering from concept, proposals, tenders and design, through to equipment development and commissioning.How to Apply Enquiries can be made in the strictest of confidence to Dave on 0419 511 633.
