About the Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a postdoctoral researcher to support the bioinformatics program with Cancer Immunotherapy. This is a full-time appointment on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct various computational and bioinformatic analyses across several cancer immunology-focused research projects.
* Play a crucial role in deciphering complex immunological patterns in this data.
* Liaise with fellow researchers at the Cancer Immunotherapy Unit (UWA) and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
Requirements:
* PhD in a relevant quantitative scientific field such as bioinformatics, physics, statistics, computer science, or mathematics.
* Demonstratable strong academic record.
* Advanced skills in a scripting programming language such as R or Python.
* Advanced data analysis, data science, or statistical skills in a scientific context.
* Experience with transcriptomics, single cell, or spatial data analysis.
* Experience with analysis pipeline development.
