About the Role Are you an experienced Accounts professional who loves structure, efficiency, and a no-fuss work environment? Our client, a well-respected business providing specialised commercial services across Melbourne, is looking for a detail-oriented and systems-savvy Accounts Administrator to support their operations. What You’ll Be Doing: • Overseeing accounts processes, including high-volume invoice processing and intercompany payments • Maintaining accurate financial records through data entry, ledger updates, and transaction tracking • Conducting credit card reconciliations, monitoring credit limits, and ensuring compliance with company policies • Preparing subcontractor billing reports, verifying invoices, and liaising with vendors to resolve discrepancies • Processing accounts transactions with precision, ensuring accuracy in general ledger entries • Supporting the Accounts Manager with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close tasks, including reconciliations and reporting • Providing cross-departmental administrative support, assisting with financial documentation, reporting, and system updates What You Bring: • 5 years of experience in a similar diverse accounts role, preferably within an SME environment • Proficiency in Xero and Excel – essential • Experience with Hubdoc and Aroflo – highly desirable • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities • Self-motivated and proactive, able to take ownership of tasks without needing constant direction • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly, down-to-earth approach to teamwork What’s in It for You? • Work-life balance – get your job done, then switch off • Stand-up/sit-down desks for comfort and flexibility • Friday team lunches – a little extra to look forward to each week • A family-oriented workplace where you’re valued • Free onsite parking Next Steps If this opportunity excites you, we’d love to hear from you Apply today, and our team will be in touch within 1–2 business days.
