The Role
The Special Care Nursery at Cabrini Malvern is a 10-cot unit dedicated to caring for babies from 32 weeks gestation who do not require respiratory support.
The ideal candidate will be confident in delivering autonomous neonatal nursing care in the SCN. Alongside working independently, they must also excel as a team player within a multidisciplinary setting.

About you:
This position is well suited to an individual who is looking to advance their career in Maternity Services nursing and gain experience in a thriving and supportive workplace. You will also have:
* Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
* Victorian Working with Children Check (Mandatory)
* Post Graduate Qualifications in SCN or NICU (Mandatory)
* Current experience in a Neonatal Unit
* Experience in caring for babies on Non Invasive Respiratory support (CPAP) (Desirable)
* Skills in neonatal advanced resuscitation and stabilization of the neonate
* Flexibility to fulfill a rotating roster
* Ability to work autonomously
* Embrace a family centred approach to your care
* Ability to work within the Mission and Values of the organisation
