About your role:
Are you looking for student placement in the booming disability sector? Gain valuable real life experience and skills to kick-start a career in the fast-growing and highly rewarding sector. As a student, you will be buddied up with a Disability Support Worker based in our Tweed Heads community access program in South Tweed Heads.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside our disability support workers in supporting our customers in a variety of social experiences and activities including sport, arts and craft, cooking, music and day trips.
Community access offers an exciting learning experience for students. The hubs offers an inclusive environment that provides our customers the opportunity for learning, friendship, growth and fun!
About you
* Currently studying a Cert III in Individual Support or similar
* Ability to follow directions and work as an individual or as part of a team
* Social, friendly and easy going - great people skills is a must
* Compassionate nature

You will have the following to qualify for this role
* Hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children)
* A NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities)
* Aged 18 years and over
* An Open Drivers Licence (or on Green P Plates)
