POSITION DESCRIPTION Position Title: Secondary School ATAR / General Outdoor Education Teacher FTE: 0.8 to 1.0 negotiable Fixed Term: Term 2, 2025 Purpose: Long Service Leave relief (Term 2 start date 28 April, end date 27 June) Role Expectations: Secondary Teacher with capability to deliver Year 11 and Year 12 ATAR, General Outdoor Education, Years 9-10 Outdoor Education and Year 11 Essential and Foundation Mathematics. Camps/Expeditions: Two 3-day camps held during Term Two, including Year 11 Expedition which returns on a Saturday. Regular use of time during lunch, recess, before and after school to run excursions. The ideal candidate would have the skill set to run activities, including camping, hiking, canoeing/kayaking, abseiling, rock climbing and bushwalking. However, some activities could be negotiable. Ability to apply appropriate risk management and emergency response protocols.
