Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Clarinet and Saxophone Music Tutors. This is a part-time (0.75 FTE, approx. 3 days) ongoing position based at our Elsternwick Campus.
The successful applicant will have the ability to build a strong foundational technique on the clarinet, enabling students to transition confidently to the saxophone.
The ideal candidate will:
* Be suitably qualified and experienced in teaching both clarinet and saxophone
* Be proficient in both classical and jazz styles
* Have experience teaching students across Years 5–9 at a variety of skill levels
* Have demonstrated experience directing a Jazz Band
