In this r ole you will
1. Ensure the accuracy and reliability of strategic, operational, and freight models within the Cluster, delivering reports and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
2. Maintain a comprehensive glossary of foundation models, including assumptions, data sources, components, and governance details.
3. Conduct rigorous testing procedures at regular intervals to evaluate model integrity, assumptions, data quality, and numerical accuracy.
4. Develop and assure foundational models using industry best practices as needed.
5. Prepare detailed model calibration & validation reports and offer recommendations to enhance model performance.
6. Assess and optimize model performance and maintenance, including stress testing and response evaluation.
7. Analyse validation results and collaborate with stakeholders to devise action plans for improvement.
8. Provide ongoing advice and guidance to stakeholders on model usage, proposing enhancements or automation solutions.
9. Actively participate in new model development initiatives and contribute expertise to assurance projects.
About you
10. Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in Transport and Traffic Modelling tools and techniques.
11. Experience in the development and/or validation of transport and traffic models.
12. Proficiency in modelling software packages and Python programming.
13. Experience in the latest model assumption, management techniques approaches, methods, and systems.
