As part of the Architecture team, you will be responsible for supporting the Company Name and Brand Change project for MLC Life Insurance and to provide technical oversight to help solve any complex issues that may arise.As a Subject Matter Expert in the Cloud space, you will be responsible for providing any AWS cloud infrastructure advice in line with our regulatory requirements, and lead the design and development of any solutioning across the project.You will provide hands-on guidance and support in developing and validating proof of concept (PoC) solutions using AWS technologies, whilst collaborating closely with our engineers to ensure that their deliverables align with our technology architectural strategy and the principles relating to software integrity and reusability.About youYou possess a minimum of 5 to 7+ years of experience playing the role of a Technical Lead or Solution Architect with a hands-on focus and background in infrastructure and/or networks, ideally within the financial services sector.Your past experiences would enable you to work in and support any legacy technology environments with the ability to collaborate with third-party and external vendors on delivering any networking and integration initiatives.Other technical requirements include:Strong experience with AWS Cloud Architecture, best practices and Cloud native design.Experience with AWS Best Architecture Framework, Serverless Design Patterns and Hybrid Cloud Architecture combining private-cloud, public cloud, SaaS providers and on-prem (if required).Experience in designing and implementing the overall VPC environment including server instances, storage instances, and subnets.Lead and produce (write) quality cloud architecture requirements, best practices on DNS splitting, DNS routing (internally & externally) based on Regulatory & rebranding guidelines.Develop Cloud Control Framework in conjunction with Architecture, Engineering and Cyber teams.
