About the Role
As the Deputy Principal of P-2 at Waterford West State School, you will be responsible for the instructional leadership of the teachers in your sector. The role will also enhance your strategic capabilities as you will be leading the whole school Wellbeing and Engagement implementation plan.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
* Deputise for the Principal when required.
* Uphold the deputy principalship as a values-based, ethical, and moral activity.
* Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
About You
The suitable candidate will have an understanding of restorative practices as the school is working towards better understanding student needs. The right person for this position will know about Multi Tiered Support Systems and how to use this as the lens when making informed decisions in their sector and portfolio areas.
