Our Lifeguards at Broken Hill Regional Aquatic Centre are a passionate team focused on public safety and ensuring that our patrons are safe while they use our facility.
About the role
Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, the role will see you work a flexible roster across 7 days between the hours of 5:30am and 2:30pm Monday to Friday and 6:30am and 8:00pm Saturday and Sunday. You will actively supervise the pool and surrounding areas, ensuring the environment is safe, clean, and enjoyable for all members and visitors within our centre. You will be responsible for identifying any safety issues and managing and responding to emergency incidents and related reporting.
About you
You are a self-motivated and customer service-focused individual. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy a challenge. Your superior communication and observation skills, along with your ability to keep calm and act quickly in an emergency situation, will see you excel in this role!
You will also come with the following:
* Current First Aid certificate
* Current CPR certificate
* Pool Lifeguard Licence
* Previous experience working at an Aquatic facility (desirable)
