Located in Newport, NSW 2106 area, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Roof plumber to join our team.
Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems, including tiles, metal sheets, and shingles, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Conduct thorough inspections to identify and diagnose roof issues such as leaks, structural damage, or worn materials.
Measure, cut, and shape roofing materials accurately to ensure a precise and secure fit.
Install and maintain roof plumbing components, such as gutters, downpipes and flashing.
Work with various materials, including metal, plastic and concrete, to construct and repair roofs.
Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as builders and architects, to ensure seamless integration of roofing systems.
Apply waterproofing techniques to prevent water penetration and enhance the longevity of roofing structures.
Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and effectively to perform roofing tasks efficiently.
Adhere to workplace safety standards and procedures to maintain a safe work environment and prevent accidents.
Qualifications and Skills: Relevant qualification in roofing or equivalent work experience A minimum of 1 year of experience in similar role.
Strong skills in measuring, cutting, and installing roofing materials.
High attention to detail for quality work.
Good communication skills for working with teams and clients.
Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 to 80,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
