Greencross Fairy Meadow is offering a unique opportunity for qualified Veterinarians to join their team with flexibility to work exclusively in our GP clinic or across both GP & emergency, within our ARH (Animal Referral Hospital) emergency hospital.
Set in the beautiful surrounds of Wollongong, we’re a recently renovated state-of-the-art facility, boasting 9 spacious consult rooms, separate dog and cat wards, CT imaging, DR radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, ICU, 3 surgery rooms, dedicated dental and endoscopy room, Tonovet plus, in-house pathology equipment and in-house orthopaedic equipment for advanced procedures. ARH Wollongong operates an emergency service every weeknight and all weekend, so our patients always receive the best 24hour care, meaning after hours is NEVER required.

Job Description
This opportunity is best suited to a veterinarian with at least 1 year post-graduation experience, who is comfortable consulting, diagnosing and treating companions animals with autonomy, while still being fully supported by our large team of experienced vets and nurses and NEVER SOLE CHARGE.
Using evidence-based diagnoses, therapies and recommended courses of treatment, you are empowered to manage cases with the collaboration and mentoring both to and from your colleagues and on-hand advice from our Specialist network, as even the most senior of Vets can learn new tricks!

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must hold a Veterinary Science qualifications from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards’ Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or alike examinations. For further information, please refer to https://avbc.asn.au
