Location: Dry Creek About the role: As a Track Maintainer with Aurizon, you will be part of our Infrastructure Maintenance team based at our Dry Creek Depot.
You will carry out routine track maintenance and maintenance of associated infrastructure in accordance with maintenance requirements.
Enjoy working 5 days per week Monday to Friday with the occasional call outs and working overtime hours.
Daily duties will include the use of manual hand tools and some use of heavy vehicle equipment.
Ongoing training and development will be provided to the successful candidate.
About you: Hold a current C Driver's Licence with no restrictions (essential) Safety conscious Hardworking, motivated and reliable A team player who can also work autonomously Willing to undertake necessary training for the position Hold a White Card Qualifications sought but not essential: Certificate II or III in Rail Infrastructure Experience in Safe working and Track Protection Boilermaker/Welding Certificate (trade) Excavator/Loader ticket HR or HC Truck Licence with no restrictions Basic computer proficiency.
It will be advantageous if you have previous experience in track maintenance, a White Card/Construction Card and also a Boilermaker/Welding Certificate.
Successful applicants will be required to undertake and pass a health assessment as well a driver history check as part of the Aurizon recruitment process.
