Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking an experienced (Senior to Director) Landscape Architect for immediate employment in our Canberra office.This is an opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary practice focused on high-performing landscapes that tackle climate change, interconnectivity and mobility, smart growth, ecological systems, and natural resources.We are looking for a passionate Landscape Architect who is energised by a collaborative design process that engages colleagues, clients, and the communities we serve.Job Summary/Responsibilities:Lead and manage all phases of landscape architecture projects, from initial concept through construction.Develop innovative and sustainable design solutions that meet client needs and align with project goals.Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.Work with team members to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.Manage, mentor and guide junior landscape architects and designers, fostering professional growth within the team.Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure high-quality project outcomes.QualificationsThe following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.A degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in Landscape Architecture, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.Proven experience in leading and managing complex projects and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.Excellent design, visualization, and presentation skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in relevant software such as Revit, Auto CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp and 3D modelling tools.Membership or eligibility for membership with AILA (Australian Institute of Landscape Architects).
