Pharmacist - Advanced (Surgical and Critical Care) Support the Assistant Director in managing the operational services of Robina Hospital Pharmacy and services provided to the satellite facilities (Varsity Lakes Day Hospital and Tugun Satellite Hospital). Lead the delivery of specialist clinical pharmacy services to these facilities, with a particular focus on services within the Specialist and Critical Care division. An opportunity has become available for a Pharmacist - Advanced (Surgical and Critical Care) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region of Australia. You will Operationally manage and provide strategic direction and professional leadership Lead and participate in clinical research and Quality Use of Medicines projects Develop new service models Provide high-level clinical pharmacy services About you To be successful in this position you will require: Possession of a tertiary degree in Pharmacy from a recognised tertiary institution AHPRA Registration Driver Licence Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Hepatitis B Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) About Us The Pharmacy Service provides medication management services across the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service, 7 days a week.
