The Learning and Development Business Partner plays a crucial role in improving employee performance and organisational growth. This is a new and exciting opportunity to work cross functionally and with HR colleagues to craft and implement effective learning solutions for our Supply Chain! Additionally, you will manage the life cycle of learning programs, lead all aspects of vendor relationships, and ensure alignment between business needs and training initiatives.
What will this role achieve?
This role will work in partnership with the HRBPs across Supply Chain to develop L&D plans to support the effective delivery of the site people plans. You will be liaising with colleagues of all levels including the Head of HR – Supply Chain, their team as well as Factory Managers and the VP of Supply Chain to deliver business aligned activity to enable in year strategic objectives. You will have the opportunity to craft and deliver suitable learning interventions to enable the teams to deliver the strategic goals. With a continuous improvement attitude, external insight and thought leadership you will demonstrate expertise in L&D tools and practices to build tailored and value adding learning experiences across all the total site population, as well as working on boarder regional projects and initiatives!
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Provide L&D Business Partnering support to our UK&I supply chain sites through developing credible and positive relationships with site leadership and other team members
2. Work in partnership with HRBPs and site leadership on implementing solutions that support the ongoing development of their teams and leadership capability within sites
3. Champion our L&D and talent operating model across sites in order to optimise its efficiency, by supporting sites and their HRBPs
4. Support fit for purpose activation of global development initiatives with region
5. Instructional Design and Needs Analysis :Apply adult learning principles and instructional design techniques in collaboration with SMEs.Conduct needs analysis and strategic learning assessments with HRBPs & site teams to advise learning solution development.Define clear instructional, learning, and performance objectives for the target audience.
6. Performance Consulting :Engage with HRBPs and site leadership to address performance gaps.
7. Vendor Management :Source external vendors when necessary, lead negotiations, and manage contracts.Act as a liaison between vendors and pladis.
8. Budget Management :Oversee the budget for learning programs.
9. Logistics and Support :Partner with L&D coordinators and PAs to ensure smooth logistics for face-to-face training (, LMS event creation & attendance, room setup, catering, materials).
10. Facilitation :Facilitate learning programs as needed.
11. LMS Admin :Creating of events and pathways on the LMSMaintain attendance on LMSGeneral LMS maintenance for the region.
12. Return on investment insight driven L&D plan Utilise L&D data to create significant insight to support people planning activity, demonstrate impact of interventions and drive a continuous improvement methodology in the role
What will be your key deliverables?
13. Building and sustaining credibility and trust with HRBPs, senior partners and teams across different sites through developing authentic relationships.

18. Experience of working in a Business Partnering role in manufacturing or related environments, including some experience of partnering with senior team members.
19. Proven experience of supporting or leading on the successful implementation of development programs
20. Previous team management experience
21. Comprehensive experience of design and facilitation of development initiatives
22. Knowledge and experience of adult learning principles and instructional design techniques
23. LMS knowledge & experience
