Risk and Compliance Officer
A key role in ensuring safety, compliance, and high standards.
Maintain a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain compliance with VRQA registration standards and Victorian Child Safety legislation.
* Oversee Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) procedures, conduct audits, and lead emergency management training and drills.
* Maintain and update the College's risk management systems (including Ideagen and Synergetic).
* Deliver compliance training and support to staff, fostering a safety-first culture.
We're seeking an experienced professional with a passion for ensuring safety and compliance.
Requirements:
* At least 2 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a similar role (educational or school environment highly advantageous).
* Strong understanding of VRQA standards, OH&S regulations, and child safety legislation.
* Proficiency with systems like Ideagen and Synergetic is a bonus.
* Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
