Job Description
Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort is currently looking for a Full time Demi Chef to join our team at our Oaks and Vine restaurant.
Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Prepare and cook high quality food
2. Supervise and train kitchen staff
3. Assist in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
4. Help create good communication between FOH and BOH
5. Keep the kitchen organized and clean
Shifts are typically from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm with no late nights. Shifts are Monday-Sunday with rotating weekends off.
Pay grade as per HIGA award: 28.87.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need to:
1. Hold relevant Certificate III in Cookery qualifications and have previous experience in a similar role.
2. Have knowledge about Modern Australian Cuisine.
3. Have knowledge and understanding of HACCP and OH&S.
4. Be flexible to work a range of different shifts, including weekends.
5. Be able to work under pressure within a dynamic team environment.
6. Be able to coach and motivate less experienced members of the kitchen team.
7. Be self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
8. Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
