Role Under the leadership of the Assistant Deputy Secretary, Teaching Learning and School Performance, the Executive Director, Curriculum Teaching and Practice will work closely and collaboratively across the Department, including with the regional workforce, to: Provide high-level advice to the Assistant Deputy Secretary in relation to effective implementation design, system-wide performance improvement and operational support enhancements. Lead the implementation of curriculum, teaching and learning support to all Victorian government schools, including the delivery of highly effective implementation and transition support and resources to schools and teachers to implement the new Victorian Curriculum. This includes supporting the implementation of the Victorian Teaching and Learning Model 2 and design and development of Victorian Lesson Plans. Lead work to support the teaching profession in its implementation of the new Victorian Curriculum, which delivers productivity benefits for teachers as well as benefits for student outcomes. Provide high-quality coordination for the integration of the Department's accountability, engagement, and delivery functions across the government school system.
