About our Client
WorkPac is currently seeking experienced nurses interested in correctional healthcare opportunities with our Prison Health client in Gatton.
About the Role
As an agency RN with us, youll have the opportunity to work at a Correctional Facility in Gatton and the opportunity to expand to the new Correctional Facility opening in Laidley in 2025. In this role, youll provide compassionate, high-quality care to a diverse range of patients. Your responsibilities as a Correctional Nurse will include administering medications, performing clinical assessments, responding to emergencies, and delivering wound care and primary health services. This is an onsite position with full training provided and onsite support. What You Will Need
* Minimum of 2 years as a qualified RN (Australia)
* Bachelor of Nursing and unrestricted AHPRA
* Current CPR certification (ALS provided through training)
* Experience in ED or Corrections (advantageous)
* Fit Testing evidence (advantageous)
* Vaccine Preventable Diseases checklist
* Flexibility and a willingness to travel for shifts must have own transport and drivers license
