AWS Elemental Technical Support Engineer
At AWS Elemental, we're looking for a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our Global Technical Support Team. As a key member of our team, you'll provide exceptional customer service by owning customer issues and delivering knowledgeable and responsive technical support.
Key Job Responsibilities:
* Investigate and resolve complex customer questions and issues via phone and email
* Act as an escalation point for critical issues and work independently to resolve them
* Communicate with internal teams to complete root cause analyses and issue investigation
* Develop and implement repro cases to identify software defects and misconfigurations
* Manage and prioritize issues using case management tools
* Lead discussions, solve issues, and identify blockers for the team
* Develop training material and documentation for internal and customer-facing user communities
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
* Experience working in enterprise-level technical/customer support
* Linux operating system expertise, particularly with networking and system administration
* Knowledge of compressed and uncompressed digital video and audio standards, including HEVC, H.264, and MPEG-2 technologies
* Cloud computing experience, especially Amazon Web Services
