About the role
We're looking for a cafe manager for a kiosk located on the 24th floor of an office building, exclusively serving the staff of a superannuation firm. You would be working alongside two other STREAT staff.
The role is available now, but we are willing to hold the position for four weeks to six weeks for the right applicant.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Oversee the cafe Monday through Friday (7.30-2.15 on Monday; 7.30-3.15 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 7.30-1.15 on Friday) (Note: the Friday may be negotiable)
* Set high standards of customer service, coffee consistency, and cleanliness, for a rotating team of baristas.
* Maintain positive relationships with clients and office management.
* Facilitate work experience for STREAT’s young trainees, supported by our dedicated youth programs team.
* Ensure health and safety requirements are met.
* Ensure the day-to-day operations of the cafe run smoothly.
* Communicate with the area supervisor and cafe operations manager on a daily basis.

About you
We’d love for you to have:
* A genuine passion for hospitality.
* Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
* Outstanding all round knowledge of Melbourne’s food and coffee culture.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, and longer as a hospitality professional.
* Experience in specialty coffee and the ability to make a great cup is essential.
