Job Description
1. Lead the breakfast kitchen brigade supervising and setting a positive example for the team, with the support of the Head Chef.
2. Prepare and cook breakfast dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
3. Ensure all food preparation and plating is executed efficiently and meets presentation guidelines.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of breakfast station and kitchen areas in line with HACCP procedures.
5. Assist in stock management and inventory control while managing costs.
6. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing ones.
7. Uphold and enforce strict health and hygiene standards.
8. Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned.
9. Liaise with the Head Chef and Sous Chef on matters as you promote an engaged team
Qualifications
10. Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, specializing in breakfast service in a hotel environment advantageous.
11. Strong knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques and recipes.
12. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
13. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
14. Trade qualifications from a culinary school.
